Queer people have always been marginalized yet we manage to make our most glamourous fantasies become reality. We are used to mining for materials from the most curious places, and our community nurtures us.

My work is inspired by the countless times my friends and I, my chosen family, got ready in messy rooms filled with random bits of fabric, feathers, and rhinestones we all collected together. More than just creating garments, we transformed what little we had into our seemingly unattainable dreams.

My aim is to cut the fabrics I use as little as possible, instead, draping and pleating a continuous piece into the shapes I desire. This opens up the possibility for the fabric to be changed and used for future garments, reducing waste to a minimum. Being a young queer artist, my work is inherently sustainable, as using materials conscientiously and making them last for a long period of time hasn’t always been a matter of choice for me.

All the pieces in this collection are bespoke. Each garment is made with unique end of line fabrics and specially handcrafted for you, by me.
